Hazel!

Hi, I’m Sarah Davies and I run mixed age group music sessions in Hellesdon, Trowse, Watton, Wreningham and Mattishall.

My PRESMA groups are 40 minutes long and have a theme running through them.  We sing, play instruments and use dance and movement whilst learning new skills.  I have Hazel my squirrel friend to help me and she loves to watch and listen to the children.  She is very fond of all the songs but especially likes her own wake up song  sung by the children and they like to give her a cuddle when we sing goodbye.

I have loved music since I was a child and have lots of memories of my Mum singing  songs to me.  As a child I really wanted to play an instrument and learnt both the recorder and piano.  I now also play the chromaharp and use it a lot in my groups.

Before starting my own sessions in 2002 I attended PRESMA music groups with my children.  It was a wonderful shared experience and as a mother it was lovely to watch them gaining confidence within the group and we still have our special songs and rhymes from that time.
