Fun, music and movement for little movers and shakers

Lorna Becker

Over the past 20 years I have worked in childcare. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and Hospital Play Specialist. I have worked bringing play, imagination and fun to children in Hospital, and then later, I set up and managed creches for Adult Education.

When my son started school I decided to train as a PRESMA teacher, as there had been no  pre school music groups in our area for us to go to, we sang a lot at home, but nothing compares to being part of a group, meeting other families and learning through music and and having fun together. Now I have started up a group in Sheringham, on Fridays at 10am at the Quaker meeting House, and I will be starting up more groups in north Norfolk in the Summer Term.

Pug joins in with my music groups - he is always sleepy, but loves being hugged and bounced by the children. he has a friend called 'peep po' bunny who pops up from time to time - peep po is very good at finding Pug, who always seems to be hidden in a quiet place for a snooze!

I get so much enjoyment from running music groups, seeing young children develop in confidence and ability, and having so much fun!

If you would like more information about my groups and where I will start up more, please call me on  0797874231
