I play clarinet and piano and have been working as a Presma teacher since January 2002. I attended Presma with all three of my daughters and the classes were a huge part of their, and our, pre-school lives. I know they benefited greatly from Presma, both musically and socially, and music is still very much part of their lives.
Undertaking the training to become a Presma teacher in 2001 seemed a natural choice and I haven’t looked back since! I find my teaching experience very enriching, rewarding and lots of fun!
I currently teach 10 Presma groups each week in Wymondham, Norwich, Mulbarton and Poringland as well as in a nursery setting.
“We have been going to our Presma class for a year now and Beth (two and a half years old) enjoys every minute. Although Beth is quiet at the class she comes home and pretends to play a clarinet like our class teacher, Julie, and sings all the songs. The class is great fun but also teaches discipline and sharing in a fun way. My son, Jack (four months old), comes with us and I'm sure it won't be long before he joins in - he already loves listening to the songs!”
