I have been involved with PRESMA since 1993, leading groups mainly in north Norwich.
My association with PRESMA began in the late 1980s when, as a Registered Childminder, I attended music groups with the children in my care. I was very aware of the great value in terms of social, emotional and physical development these music- making experiences provided. The children had great fun and so did I! It was this experience that prompted me to become a PRESMA Teacher.
My own musical education was limited but this has proved no barrier. Indeed, it has led to some most enjoyable and rewarding adult learning experiences as I set about developing the skills needed to lead PRESMA sessions.
I believe, through the medium of music and movement, both young and old alike can find the seeds of their own unique potential and blossom into the truly alive person that they really are.
