About PRESMA

PRESMA is the Pre-School Music Association, a registered charity which promotes music making and sharing, with babies, pre-school children and their parents and carers.

The early years music teachers who create and deliver the sessions are self-employed under the PRESMA umbrella.  This supports them by providing:

• a network of like-minded practitioners for support and inspiration
• publicity for the classes
• administration of waiting lists
• organisation of events
• the issue of a regular newsletter
• help with any other matters

Though we are based in Norfolk and Suffolk, PRESMA maintains links with a wide variety of other pre-school music groups and organisations, countrywide.

PRESMA provides training and CPD opportunities for its practitioners and also provides information to the education services and other organisations, including features in national magazines, radio programmes etc to raise the profile of pre-school music. PRESMA also provides outreach work for areas and groups who have limited access to pre-school music education.
